Shaka Lion, a Brazil born and Lisbon based DJ and producer expresses his unique creativity through blending rhythms and sounds from the most diverse influences, with accents of dub and hip hop and colourful overtones reflecting his multicultural journey through life and art. At a spectacular urbex at Barreiro, south side of Lisbon’s Tejo river estuary, he performs one of his latest creations, inviting us to contemplate this unique landscape, while delivering skillfully crafted beats that will surely leave you with an irresistible urge to nod your head along.

About Shaka Lion
Shaka Lion is a Luso-Brazilian DJ recognized for his blend of Dub, Reggae, Soul, Hip Hop, and other musical genres, influenced by his Brazilian roots and his experience in Lisbon.
He began his career in Lisbon clubs such as Copenhagen, Casa Independente, and Park. His international performances have led him to play on renowned platforms like NTS and Beats1, as well as collaborate with London radio station Rinse FM. Shaka Lion holds residencies at emblematic Lisbon clubs, notably MusicBox and Lux Frágil.
He curated the Iminente Festival, which celebrates urban culture, and has collaborated with artists such as Sango and Smino, enriching his musical repertoire. Shaka Lion is a « chameleon » artist. He brings a natural energy to his eclectic sets filled with positive vibes.
